Sky Atlantic has set a date for the second season of the British-American co-production “Industry” found The eight new episodes will air in double packs every Friday at 10.15pm starting November 4.
The UK BBC/HBO co-production has just had its world premiere in the US. It is currently unclear whether the two co-executive producers will order a third season.
“Pramone” aims to take viewers behind the scenes of highly competitive high finance in the capital of Great Britain, London. The focus is on a group of young bankers who work in the charged atmosphere of international bank Pierpoint & Co.
From the first season of “Industry” Harper Stern (Myha’la Herrold) and their fresh counterparts Pierpoint started and competed for several permanent positions, a lot happened. Last but not least, the corona pandemic has also forced many bankers to work from home.
But now Pierpoint has told workers to return to their workplaces, where things are as tense and paranoid as ever. The bank is leading in a new, American way to take employees to new heights. Harper Stern (Herrold), Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Marisa Abela) and Robert Spearing (Harry Lawtey) must drive sales and build new alliances inside and outside the office. The goal is to get as much profit as possible from the post-Corona world.
News in the ensemble for season two includes: Alex Alomar Akpobome as Danny Van Deventer, a kind of prodigy from the New York office; Indy Lewis as Venetia Berens, Yasmin’s latest recruit; Catherine De Candole als Celeste Pacquet; Jay Duplass as hedge fund manager Jesse Bloom; Sonny Poon Advice as his son Leo Bloom; and Adam Levy (“The Witch”) as Yasmin’s father, actor Charles Hanani.
