Ave Maria isn’t helping either: Netflix canceled the militant series The Warrior Nun after its second season. The fantasy series probably failed to generate the desired hits.
The “Warrior Nun” battle is over because Netflix (basic subscription with ads from November for €4.99) The fantasy series based on the Ben Dunn comic book has been canceled after its second season, Deadline reports. The world premiere of this season took place a little less than a month ago, on November 10.
The timing is odd, as the show made the Nielsen US Top 10 as a broadcast original. After just four days, the series took fourth place behind Manifest, The Crown and Love is Blind, although the gap to the top three was very wide. Series creator and showrunner Simon Barry took to Twitter to announce the surprising news and of course thanked fans for their love and support.
