Netflix has announced the release date for season 5 of The Crown

As part of Netflix’s virtual Tudum event, the streaming provider announced when the fifth season of the hit series The Crown will begin. As in the third season, new actors will play the royals.

The highly-anticipated fifth season of Netflix’s The Crown premieres on November 9. The streaming giant gave up on Saturday Twitter and known as part of the Netflix virtual event Tudum. British Imelda Staunton (66) takes on the role Queen Elizabeth II. Previously, Claire Foy and Olivia Colman played the monarch.
