A watermelon smoothie like this is not only incredibly delicious and refreshing, it also looks fantastic.

A smoothie like this for breakfast is always a good idea, don’t you think? Treat yourself to something extra special today and serve this heavenly watermelon smoothie. Simply delicious!

Ingredients for 1 person:

  • 200 grams of watermelon
  • 100 g Salad Gherkin
  • 1/2 lime, the juice
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ice cubes
  • Watermelon, for decoration

Approximately per portion:

  • 134 kcal
  • 1 g Fett
  • 28 grams of carbohydrates
  • 2 grams of protein

Preparation time:

  • approx. 10 minutes (plus 30 minutes cooling time)

And this is how it’s done:


  1. Remove the skin from the melon and cut 200 g of the flesh into large cubes. Wash and slice the cucumber. Combine both in a bowl and place in the freezer for half an hour.
  2. Place the melon and cucumber in a blender along with the lime juice, salt, sugar and a few ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a glass, garnish with a melon – and enjoy ice-cold!
