Kim Kardashian’s personal trainer claims the reality star lost 16 pounds in a “healthy way” in three weeks.
“I think one of the misconceptions is – she works really hard. I was there throughout the process and it wasn’t like starving yourself,” Don-A-Matrix told TMZ.
“She was on a really balanced diet and at times she wasn’t eating that much, but the second thing she did was go to the gym and work out.”
Don-A-Matrix, who has also worked with Khloé Kardashian over the years, claimed that the Skims founder “worked out twice a day” “sometimes.”
“It’s possible to lose 20 pounds the healthy way,” he added, without giving a specific timeline.
Kardashian, 41, came under fire for admitting to following a “strict” diet for three weeks to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress for the Met Gala.
“Walking down a red carpet and doing an interview where you say how hungry you are…because you haven’t eaten carbs in the last month…anything to fit into a frigging dress?” Riverdale star Lili Reinhart, 25, wrote on her Instagram story on Tuesday. “So wrong. So f-ked on 100 levels.”

The actress, who didn’t name Kardashian, added that it’s “disgusting” for celebrities to admit they’re “starving” given how many people look up to them.
“To admit frankly that you starved yourself for the Met Gala. When you know for a fact that millions of young men and women look up to you and listen to your every word,” Reinhart continued. “The ignorance is otherworldly disgusting.”
