To the topic Occupiers are constantly moving in the south: the armed forces have identified possible reasons

The Russians are forced to maneuver in order not to get hurt

Humenyuk noted that now the occupiers are constantly moving in the south. The first likely cause is the fire control system developed by the Southern defenders. Therefore, the occupants are forced to constantly change their places to avoid being affected.

At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces seek to create the effect of a maximum presence in the occupied part of the Kherson region.

We are currently observing that they are constantly moving. And that movement is caused both by the establishment of fire control, which does not give rest, and by the fact that it is trying to create the effect of maximum presence,
– said Humeniuk.

At the same time, she noted that there are 3 more reasons for the constant movement of the occupiers – preparation for new provocations.

Russia can prepare a trap for our soldiers in the direction of Kakhov

Humenyuk explained a third possible reason for the constant deployment of Russian troops in the direction of Kahovski. According to her, it is possible that the occupiers are preparing a trap for our defense forces there, because these maneuvers they are now carrying out “speak of preparation for various provocations”.

The Russians withdraw weapons, equipment and units from populated areas, fire from the right bank to make it look like Ukrainian defense forces have done it, and return to the site, after which they conduct “reconnaissance work” among the population.

The Russian military says it was done by the armed forces and that an evacuation is necessary. So they try to drag some of the population down to form a human shield to cover themselves with.

What is happening now in the Kherson region

  • The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that the occupiers are withdrawing part of their troops from Kachovka and Novaya Kachovka on the left bank of the Dnieper and moving their forces to the area of the village of Nizhny Sirogozhai.
  • Colonel Jevhen Jerin, the head of the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavrija direction, emphasized that may be a trap.
  • The Russians are spreading rumors among the local population that they intend to leave the left bank of the Dnieper before the New Year. But there is no reason to trust the Russian invaders. Now the occupiers to evict people from private homesto accommodate their units there.
