Zelensky told the UN Security Council that the Russian Federation’s missile strikes are a crime against humanity.

“What does Russia want to achieve? When the temperature is below zero and millions of people do not have electricity, water or food. This is a clear crime against humanity,” he said.

Also, according to Zelensky, the Russian Federation should not participate in the vote related to its aggression against Ukraine.

“A terrorist state cannot take part in any vote because of its aggression, its terror, it’s a deadlock,” the president said.

Zelensky also called for a change in the practice, according to which the Russian Federation, as a terrorist state, has the right to veto any decisions of the Security Council, especially regarding its aggression against Ukraine.

In addition, Zelensky called on UN experts to come to Ukraine and personally inspect Ukraine’s critical infrastructure facilities, and on the UN Security Council to support his previously presented Ukrainian peace formula.

“Today, 70 missiles arrived in one day – this is the Russian terror formula,” the president emphasized.
