In the vegan scene, kale chips – also often referred to as kale chips – have been known for a long time and are probably the ultimate snack. I have to admit that I haven’t dared to try the healthy chips for a relatively long time. But that’s probably also because, firstly, I never had a good recipe for it and secondly, my relationship to cabbage of any kind has only changed significantly in recent years. Because while I used to not like the smell, mouthfeel or taste of cabbage dishes, I now love it in all culinary forms. I think we’ll skip the facts about exactly what’s healthy about kale chips at this point: believe us, it’s very healthy!
As a general rule, most kale chip recipes tend to feature salty, hot, and savory flavors. But our recipe turns your kale into crunchy chips that are both sweet and salty. Also spicy, nutty and slightly bitter. So your whole tongue will tremble as soon as the kale chips hit the dance floor.
You can decide for yourself whether you want to bake them very crispy or with a slightly softer texture. Luckily, the kale chips don’t need to cool that long either, so you can eat them fairly quickly after baking. Almond flour and tahini paste are the perfect accompaniment for the kale chips and round off the whole taste experience.

The perfect snack alternative to potato chips: homemade kale chips.
preparation
-
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees (circulating air). Wash and dry the kale. Cut out the stalk and tear the kale leaves into pieces of equal size, if possible, and place in a bowl.
-
Mix all other ingredients well and marinate the kale with it. Then spread out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread evenly.
-
Bake the kale chips for about 10 minutes and then check the first time and open the oven. Moisture will also escape from the oven. The time between burnt and perfect crispy chips is very short. Therefore, ideally check the kale chips every minute. Then just take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit.
