Doctors are increasingly open to prescribing digital health applications (DiGA) for their patients. dr Laura Weisenburger, doctor and scientific editor at Apotheken Umschau, reports on the results of two new studies and explains what obstacles there are to prescriptions.

About our hosts:

After training as an editor and studying medicine, he worked Dr. Dennis Ballwieser as an anesthetist at the Munich University Hospital. He has been Managing Director since 2015 and Editor-in-Chief of Apotheken Umschau since 2020.

dr Laura Wiseburger studied human medicine and is a specialist in visceral surgery and has treated and operated on people in various clinics for nine years. In May 2019 she put down the scalpel and started working as a journalist in the editorial department of Apotheken Umschau and its sister magazines.
