The trio has it all: A pizza with ham, pear and gorgonzola tastes really exciting. It’s a perfect blend of sweet and savory. Yummi. The round happiness is served in many regions of Italy and is now even popular in France. And here, too, you can often find pizza on our menus, especially in autumn and winter.
In addition to the sweet pear, the hearty gorgonzola is the star of the pizza. Not everyone likes the tasty blue cheese from the beautiful north of Italy. The idea of eating mold terrifies some people. The creamy cheese is enhanced with extra noble mould, namely with the A gray pencil. The so-called brush mold intensifies the taste of the cheese and drives away other fungal spores that are undesirable on the cheese. I love him.
For me, the Gorgonzola is a blue seducer. The longer it has had to mature, the spicier and creamier it tastes. Then you can even spoon it up – an incomparable pleasure, for example with a pear. But wait, the trio isn’t complete yet, because we’re introducing a pizza with ham, pear and gorgonzola. The ham provides the hearty touch. I prefer cooked ham on pizza, but you can also use raw ham for the pizza recipe. Both taste great. Here you will find more pizza recipes – whether traditional or updated:

Round happiness: Pizza with ham, pear and gorgonzola
More aroma is not possible: pizza with ham, pear and gorgonzola.
Take the finished pizza dough out of the fridge. It should be at room temperature before processing. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat. Cover the baking tray with parchment paper and spread the finished pizza dough on it. Tear the ham into small pieces. Wash the pear, cut into wedges, core, cut into slices and sprinkle with lemon juice. Crumble the gorgonzola.
Spread the ham, gorgonzola, pear slices and pine nuts on the pizza dough and drizzle with honey.
Put the baking tray with the pizza in the preheated oven and bake the pizza at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, trim and wash the rocket, shake dry and roughly chop. Spread on the finished pizza, season with black pepper and then enjoy the pizza.
