Recipes for outside: snack de luxe

Farmer’s bread is a popular hiking provision. We show a beefed up version for the grate.

The recipe is ideal on tours with barbecue areas as a stopover. First clean the mushrooms and cut them into small pieces if you like. Then peel and finely dice the onions. If there is a pan, fry the mushrooms in butter until golden brown and then caramelize the nuts and seeds with the honey, otherwise sauté the mushrooms lightly on the grid. Brush the bread slices with butter and place on the grill, at the same time lightly brown the goat cheese on both sides for 5 minutes. Now garnish the loaves with goat cheese, mushrooms and nuts. If you want, you can add some bacon as a topping. Roast the whole thing briefly, remove from the grill and enjoy the culinary delights.

You need these ingredients for this:

  • 250 grams of chanterelles
  • 2 onions
  • 5 tbsp soft butter
  • 4 slices of farmhouse bread
  • 4 goat cheeses of 250 g each
  • 2 THE Honig
  • 4 tbsp nuts of choice
  • (optionally with bacon)
